Bev Chadwick is a retired music educator having taught music K-12 and bands in Central MA. She holds a Music Education degree from U Mass Lowell. In addition to teaching, Bev has played oboe and English horn with the Thayer Symphony Orchestra and various woodwinds in pit orchestras and small ensembles. She has played in a Broadway tour of “A Chorus Line” and with other traveling performers. She currently adjudicates double reeds for MMEA festivals. Currently she plays woodwinds in various productions around the North Shore.
Beverly has played with the North Shore Concert Band for 10 years. Her favorite music genre is Baroque sonatas and her favorite piece to play is Saint-Saens’ Oboe Sonata
In addition to her musical activities, Bev enjoys her grandchildren and sailing.
