We Need YOUR Help!

David Benjamin here.  As you my know, this year for the 2024 concert season, the Board of Directors decided to add additional instruments along with a special vocalist to further enhance the music that we perform at the Salem Willows,  In addition to that we took steps to become a part of the Essex Heritage Trails and Sails event that takes place annually in Salem.

We knew that doing this would increase our expenses, but it would be worth it to raise the quality of what we can do at each of our concerts and that YOU our audience members would appreciate the new capabilities of our performances!  We also believed that some of the members of our audiences would also be willing to step up to help out in whatever possible ways that they can!  There are two ways that your help would be greatly  appreciated:

First, If you are one of those people that come early or are willing to stay a bit longer after a concert, we would greatly appreciate help setting up prior to or helping to take-down after a concert!  We begin setting up about 1 hour and 30 minutes before our concerts and it usually takes about 20 minutes to take everything down after the concert.  If you can help in this way, we would be very appreciative of your assistance!

Second, we could use your help financially!  Although the concerts that we perform each week are free to the public, each concert cost us just under $3,000, since we have over 25 members, each of whom are paid standard music union rates.  If You can help financially we would greatly appreciate your assistance!  The North Shore Concert Band is a 501-C3 not for profit corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This means that all of your contributions are tax deductible!  Donating can be done easily, online and it only takes a few minutes to complete your donation!  Just click on the button below to begin the donation process.  Again YOUR financial donations are GREATLY appreciated!

Director and President
